Toshiba Qosmio X500

Maybe you do not need a PC anymore to be the main CPU. The final choice must fall on the laptop. To answer such challenges, Toshiba recently launched the Qosmio X500. Present as the sister of the Qosmio X305, X500 will come with much more powerful specification. The statement is proved by the Intel i7 processors used as the power of this laptop.

From images found on Toshiba's official website, this laptop looks wrapped in black and on the laptops given a red color. At first sight the design is carried by a laptop similar to the Ferrari car.


This laptop has a screen of 18.4 inches. With that big screen, of course details of the image can be seen clearly and of course you can imagine how great about this laptop. X500 graphics card will use 250MNV GTS GeForce video card with 1GB VRAM. These laptops are powered by an Intel i7-720QM (2.8GHz). For the hard disk, Toshiba includes a hard disk with a capacity of 1 Terabyte, enough to store data or multimedia data work. This laptop uses 8GB of RAM. Of course you should use for 64-bit Operating System if you want to optimize use of available memory.

Wi-Fi connection is also available on the X500. Harman Kardon speakers that are used by Toshiba, is very interesting especially these speakers are tried and tested quality.
Recently, Toshiba announced that they will soon issue a Blu-Ray Player. Sure X500 will not miss because laptops will also be accompanied with a Blu-Ray Player. For additional, X500 will be equipped with HDMI-CEC port, multi-touch touchpad (two-finger pinch, Swipe, rotate, scroll), and LED-backlit keyboard with 10-key numberpad.

The new Qosmio X500 will be out mid-October. As for prices, until now, Toshiba has not announced it.

This USB 3.0 Hard Drive World's First!

Freecom, one of the companies engaged in the external and portable hard drive storage, recently announced Hard Drive 3.0 XS. Different from the hard drive that already exists in the market so far, has brought 3.0 XS USB 3.0 technology! With the launch of XS 3.0, Freecom has become the first company to release a portable hard drive that uses USB 3.0 technology.

Freecom, through its official release, also states that the hard drive of their output has a capacity USB 2.0 backward compatibility. This means making the device capable of working on any computer that uses USB 2.0 technology. Of course the data transfer speed, if you use the hard drive on USB 2.0 is not going as fast as when using USB 3.0.

XS 3.0 Hard Drive is a 3.5-inch hard drive portable. XS 3.0 offers transfer rate is quite high, which is 130MB per second. Size XS 3.0 was not too large, even dare to claim that the Freecom hard drive of their output is the smallest among all 3.5-inch hard drive available. The weight of this tool was only 1.9 pounds or 1 kg.

Hard drives will be available in three capacities, namely 1 TB, 1.5 TB and 2 TB. Dibanderol price was quite cheap, which is starting from 119 euros (or about USD175). This tool will be available in Europe in mid-November tomorrow. What about Asia? Let's just wait.
