Knowledge spiral

Knowledge divided the two, the explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge. The explicit knowledge is knowledge written, archived, spread & printed and can be a reference for other people and tacit knowledge is a form of know how, experience, skill, and understanding the rules of thumb, usually accidentally found, michael polyani said that the knowledge that we have more than told.

Ikujiro Nonaka make the formulation as the famous SECI spiral or knowledge. The concept that in the cycle of life we travel, the knowledge that if the process described spiral-shaped, this process is called Socialization - Externalization - Combination - Internalization

• Externalization is the process of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge. Can write with the know-how and experience that we get in the form of articles, writing, blog, or even books.
• Combination is utilizing the existing explicit knowledge to explicit knowledge is implemented into another. This process is very useful to improve the skill and productivity itself.
• internalization process of the explicit knowledge as inspiration comes knowledge. From the fourth process, this is only possible as we do. Other language is learning by doing. Working with references from books, blogs, manual and find new experiences, new understanding is not obtained from books.
• Socialization process is change tacit knowledge to tacit knowledge others. This is sometimes forgotten. We do not take advantage of our presence on a job to learn from others who may be more experienced. This process makes our skill developed and also important for self-improvement course, which will return in the process externalization.
