Asus P7F server board

Asus launched the Single Server System with new processor and server code E6 board P7F Series 3420 equipped with the Intel architecture processors PCH and the new Quad / Dual Core Intel Xeon 3400 Series. To server board P7F Series, Asus has equipped this board with DDR3 memory technology, upgraded features Pike, and more flexible design.




Board called P7F more flexible because this board can be placed in a standard chassis. So far, most of the server board on the market is very difficult to be placed on the standard chassis. Usually, the server board should be placed on a special chassis. The secret was only the mounting holes. Asus provides a standard mounting holes, so P7F able to use the standard chassis. For users who want to continue using the slim chassis 1U server, the user can use the upgrade option Kit Pike. Asus claims that the existence of such an upgrade option the user can move the SATA to SAS storage with safe and easy. Asus has also included Flex-E technology, which serves to provide flexibility for users with an automatic transfer from one link PCI-E x16 links to two PCI-E x8.
